Did you know that our vitamin D levels drop during the colder months? In Winter, longer sunlight exposure periods are required for adequate vitamin D because less skin is exposed and the sun is generally not as strong as in Summer. The recommended seasonal amount is dependent on location in Australia and skin type. Please see http://www.osteoporosis.org.au/about/about-osteoporosis/vitamin-d/ for more information.
